Carmel Lita is settling in nicely. She loves the little mice and plays with them (and us) every night as well as climbing around on her tree. And we are very happy with her. She is absolutely beautiful and lots of fun. No pictures of us with her since when we are playing with her, she is too active to take a picture. She has really settled in. She is really enjoying playing with her little mice and loves to attack a pink mat that we got her. We put her toys on it and our hands under it to move them, and she gets pretty wound up. She definitely likes to hunt her toys and often jumps from the second level of her tree onto them on the ground about 5 feet away. She is still very attached to bathroom taps as you can see from the pictures. We are really enjoying her and appreciate that you entrusted her to us..... Jonathan M., Saskatoon, Saskatchewan .

Hello Teresa how are you? We are all doing fine. Destiny and Mystic are doing great. We have started to introduce them slowly and to are surprise they are getting along fantastic!!!!! Allot smoother then what we thought and we couldn't be happier:) They aren't sleeping together yet but we think in the next few weeks they will. We see what you meant when you said Destiny was high energy. Boy is she ever LOL!!!!!! I swear she never sleeps. She keeps us all on are toes and we couldn't be happier!!!!!!!!! She has showed how she dumps her water bowl and carry it around, she has showed how she likes to play with paper towel, she has showed us that if she really likes a toy she will carry it around in her mouth and growl and if you go to take it away from her she will play tug a war with you. She is priceless!!!!!!!!!!!! We love her so much!!!!!!! .... Darren K and Kim L, Thompson, Manitoba |

I thought I would write and let you know how Abhaya is settling in with his not-so-new Family. J Well firstly, we renamed him Java “Abhaya” Gillam. We all decided on this new name after realizing that he seemed to have the energy level of someone who was having many, many cups of Java a day! J That and that Java is an Indonesian name! Abhaya has settled in very nicely and is the most gentle and affectionate little boy. Recently the children came down with the Norwalk virus and Abhaya spent all his days on my bed next to, first Jared, and then Aimee as they got better. As soon as everyone was up and feeling better, Abhaya was running around playing with everyone. He constantly amazes us with the things he’ll pick up and take to his Cat Tree. The other day it was a padlock from our gate which the children had brought in and left on the floor. It was really heavy but for some reason he wanted it, not that he was allowed to after I discovered him halfway up the Cat Tree with it. Boy did he sulk with me for a while after that! J At night he sleeps on our bed but visits the children before settling down for the night! It’s sooo cute to see him checking up on them. Jared had a Show and Tell at school and he had to bring a picture of his favourite animal – well as this email is about Abhaya you can guess who he chose – Abhaya. He was so proud to tell everyone that he was a fourth generation Bengal cat and even more proud that everyone “really liked my cat and everyone was really quiet when I told them about him”.So we really are a very strong family now and we couldn’t be more in love with Abhaya. He really is the most wonderful cat!!!! I keep looking at your website and seeing how things are going at Banyan Tree and I’m looking forward to seeing your new kittens due at the end of this month. They are all so very beautiful and adorable! JAgain, thank you for choosing us to adopt Abhaya……our lives are so much more the richer for having him as part of our family!!!!! Lexi is doing wonderfully. She is the most easy going cat I have ever met. We are amazed at her outgoing personality./ As soon as we brought her home she started making sure my cats knew she wanted to be a part. It took my cats about 3 days to warm up to her, but now they all sleep together, lick each other and play like they are old friends. She has such a funny personality, and has really taken to my husband. He is her "snuggle mate". When she wants to play she will either attack Sophie or me for a wrestling game, but when she wants to sleep she goes right to Scott. :) She is beautiful by the way. I can't get over how sleek her coat is and how well she is put together....Aneitre, Scott and Sophie M, Kentville, Nova Scotia

" Myn"
I just wanted to let you know how much fun we
are having with Myn. I have actually started calling her Minoche once in a
while as it seems fitting. (means pounce in French) She is hilarious and we
have a lot of fun together. She has learned to play fetch and loves to play
with water. Sandy and I have got the cats together a few times. They still
play together and definitely remember each other. Yesterday, I put some
water in the bathtub and she went in twice to play. I guess Bengals really
do like water. I've never seen a cat do that before. We are having lots of
fun! Its nice to have her around.
I'm glad that Mani and Jazz are having more....they seem to have very
nice offspring...we could not be happier with Myn! Love her to
pieces....we now call her our 'bad child'. She is always up to something
mischievous !!
Thanks again for everything. . . . . . Michelle H and James P of Vancouver, BC

Juna is an absolute doll ,
we have had visitors and she is not the least bit bothered
by strangers , Cleo lets her rub up against her and play
with her tail. And the dogs got a lesson in who is boss, so
they don't bother with her they seem to ignore her and look
at us as if to say "Hmmm another cat, again!" Orion lets
her sniff at his nose which is really funny to watch. The
cats all eat in the same area without any problem, so all
seems to be well.
(Cleo is a Persian cat and Orion is their German Shepherd
)
Thank you for
letting us have Juna, we just love her....Kevina & Liz D.,

....Deuce outside
Ace is getting so big - he is very long and
lean, and when he walks it is with that low slung look...he is an absolute
joy and a handful at the same time! Ace is doing great! He is such a
character; he definitely has a unique personality! His most recent favorite
thing to do is play chase - I chase him, then he chases me - when I am
getting ready for bed I never know where he is going to be hiding - waiting
to jump out and attack me. When it is my turn to "attack" him he puffs
himself up and arches his back - I am sure he
thinks that he looks menacing, but it is just plain hysterical! Hope you
enjoy the picture I am attaching; you will see that Ace is looking as
healthy and handsome as
ever! Ace and Elvis (the dog) are getting along
great. He is also a big hit with any visitors we have had, especially
the little kids. They think he looks awesome. I am so happy to have him here
- he makes me laugh every day. I can't thank you enough for allowing us to
have Ace. He just makes my day!.
Deuce....She definitely has a unique personality....very lovable, but I am a bit dismayed that she hasn't been sleeping with me anymore, she sleeps with Ace in his cat bed....I don't think Ace likes that too much! LOL .....Heidi N of MacKenzie, BC
Our experience with Sahara has been so wonderful! We couldn't be more pleased with her. She is so incredibly affectionate- she loves to "head butt" me when she's on my lap because she just can't seem to get close enough, and she is full of purrs. She also loves to balance on my shoulder and would balance on my head if I let her! And she has recently popped up in places such as the very top closet shelf or window ledges high on the wall... and I just can't figure out how she got there! She adores our Ridgeback Kaya, and we can tell the two of them truly value each others company. They are especially playful in the morning, when they take turns licking each others faces- it's quite amusing to watch, especially since Kaya is so much bigger! She enjoys her scratching post, though she now runs at it at full speed with the intent of knocking it over... and she has not scratched a single piece of furniture. I just can't say enough about her... Did I mention how gorgeous she has become? If we didn't have two dogs already, I have no doubt we would be looking at another kitten from you! Thank you so much for her! ... Sarah and Byron, Richmond, BC...2005
